Miss Dorothy Chun, Director of the Palama Settlement Music School, harmonizes joyfully with two neighborhood youngsters. Miss Dorothy Chun, Director of the Palama Settlement Music School, is harmonizing with two neighborhood youngsters who can sing for the joy of singing. The music school offers a weekly class, Music for the Community, in just such singing. Palama's school also offers private lessons in piano, voice, wind, brass and string instruments as well as the theory of music. In addition, the music school has organized a Glee club to give students experience in choral work. The school's spring term opened Monday. All classes are open to student enrollment.

The teachers of Palama Settlement Music School hosted a musical program on Apirl 7th. Dear Parents,
You are cordially invited to a program given by the teachers of Palama Settlement Music School on Friday evening, April 6th at 7:30 pm in the school auditorium. Miss Chun will sing a group of German lieders by Schuman. Solos on both the B flat and E flat clarinet will be played by Mrs. Gallegos. Piano solos by Bach, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff will be played by Miss Troyer. A piano concerto by Beethoven arranged for two pianos will be played by Mrs. Gallegos and Miss Troyer. A reception will be held after the recital. WE would appreciate very much you're helping out by contributing cookies do for the occasion.
